The Seattle Sounders recorded yet another win over the weekend against FC Dallas, their fifth consecutive. They are now very close to entering the playoff spots, but are in for a tough match on Saturday. They will play host to the LA Galaxy, who are coming off a really frustrating draw against Colorado at home.

The Seattle Sounders (9-9-5) have left their dark days behind them, and are now enjoying a massive eight-match undefeated streak. They are coming off a really strong win at home against FC Dallas, where they won by 1-2. Chad Marshall took the lead at the 41st minute with an assist by Lodeiro. FC Dallas pulled even at the 52nd, but Lodeiro scored the winning goal at the 63rd minute to record the fifth win in a row for the Sounders. They are now sitting at the 8th spot of the Western Conference with 32 points, three behind the playoff spots. They improved their home record to 5-4-2, but have kept just two clean sheets so far.
On the other hand, the LA Galaxy (10-8-7) were below average in their mid-week match at home against Colorado. It was a really ugly first half with very few chances by the two sides. The Galaxy took the lead at the 59th minute with Cole, but Colorado pulled even at the 74th. The Galaxy scored once again at the 78th, only to see their opponents pull even at the 82nd minute, for the final 2-2. They have not been in very good form lately, having won just one of their last five (1-1-3). Moreover, they have conceded multiple goals in eight of their last ten matches. They are now sitting at the 4th spot of the Conference with 37 points, five behind the top spot. They have a very balanced 4-4-4 record on the road, where they really struggle to keep clean sheets.
The two teams played on three occasions last season, where Seattle won by 3-0 in LA before two draws in the other two matches. They are now undefeated in the last five against the Galaxy (2-0-3). Moreover, they have been great as hosts over the years (8-5-5), but have won just one of the last five (1-1-3).
The two teams were once fighting for supremacy at the top of the Conference, and have a long history between them. Both teams have huge problems in the back, and just can’t keep clean sheets. They also have great offensive lines, so I will gladly take the Over 3 Goals here.
