Juventus finally met their first loss of the season on Wednesday when they fell at home against Manchester United in the Champions League. They will now have a tough time in their return to domestic duties, as they will be hosted by AC Milan. AC Milan split the points in a draw against Betis in the Europa League on Thursday. They are coming into this match in solid form but with a ton of injury concerns.

Spread: AC Milan +0.75

AC Milan (6-2-3) played a really balanced match on the road against Betis on Thursday for the Europa League. Their opponents took an early lead in that match but AC Milan managed to pull even at the 62nd minute for the final 1-1. Last week they recorded a slim 1-0 win on the road against Udinese, and are now undefeated in their last four (3-0-1). AC Milan are now sitting at the 4th spot of the Serie A with 21 points, just as many as Lazio below them. Both teams are four points behind Inter Milan and Napoli, and three ahead of Sassuolo. AC Milan are still undefeated at home in domestic competitions (4-0-1), and have also recorded a win and a loss there for the Europa League. More importantly, AC Milan have failed to keep a single clean sheet at home, with all seven matches featuring goals from both sides.
On the other hand, Juventus (10-0-1) met a really frustrating and kind of shocking 2-1 loss at home against Manchester United. They took the lead at the 65th minute with Ronaldo but their opponents scored twice in the last five minutes of the match to take a 2-1 win. Despite the loss, Juventus are still leading their respective group with 9 points. Last week they had an easy job in the 1-3 home win against Cagliari, which extended their undefeated streak to 14 matches (13-0-1) before falling to Manchester United. Juventus are still leading the Serie A with 31 points, six points ahead of Inter Milan and Napoli. Juventus have the best offense (24) and the 2nd best defense in the league (8). They have been perfect on the road so far (5-0-0), where they have also recorded two wins in the Champions League.
The two teams last met in the final of the Coppa Italia last season, where Juventus destroyed AC Milan by a harsh 0-4. Moreover, they won both matches for the Serie A last season, by 2-0 on the road before a 1-3 in this venue. They have now won each of the last five against this opponent. Juventus have also been excellent in this venue, losing just once in the last five years (4-1-1).
AC Milan are coming into this match with four injured players, and five others who are considered to be doubtful to participate. Juventus are coming off a loss and will surely look for a reaction here. They have also been great in this venue, so I will back them up to cover the spread here.
Serie A AC Milan vs Juventus Prediction: Juventus -0.75 (-104)
