Westgate Odds to Win Super Bowl LIV

Earlier this week the Alliance of American Football announced that it was suspending its operations essentially ending the 2019 season. Furthermore leaving the league’s future in limbo.  Westgate Odds to Win Super Bowl LIV.

AAF Suspends Operations

Hypothetically, an more so improbable, if the National Football League were to go under or cancel a Super Bowl most Vegas and Offshore Sportsbooks would refund any and all NFL championship Future wagers. “All bets are action regardless of team relocation or name change. All bets are action despite a shortened season. If Super Bowl is not played, all bets are refunded.

A day after the AAFL announced their the suspended season FanDuel Sportsbook did the improbable.

FanDuel made a decision to declare the 7-1 Orlando Apollos champions. With that declaration they paid out futures bets on Orlando as the AAF 2019 champions. Furthermore FanDuel also decided to grade all futures bets on the other seven AAF teams. Not as losers but as winners. This included the two franchises, Memphis Express and Atlanta Legends, the pair of AAF clubs that had been eliminated from postseason competition.

“Because the FanDuel Sportsbook loves football and we believe this is the very definition of a bad beat for sports fans everywhere, we are also going to pay out straight future wagers for all AAF teams as winners,” FanDuel announced.

The SuperBook of Las Vegas, Westgate announced they will refund all AAF futures wagers and grade them as no action, since a championship game wasn’t played.

Note that FanDuel Sportsbook told ESPN that paying out all bets as winners will cost the company “just under $10,000.”

The given here is that much more than 10K was wagered at Westgate. And secondly there is a better chance that our planet gets struck by earth changing asteroid than the NFL canceling their season due to financial issues.
