Super Bowl 53 Touchdown Props and Predictions

Super Bowl 53 Touchdown Props from William Hill

There are touchdown props as far as the eye can see for Super Bowl LIII. Some of them offer excellent value opportunities, while others are best left for others to mess around with. We’ve done the heavy lifting on both the team and player side to find the ones that look to be worth a wager.

Super Bowl LIII Passing Team Touchdown Props

Think of a scenario involving a touchdown being scored in the big game, and there’s a good chance you can find a prop bet for it. Here are the two most attractive on the team side of the equation.

Shortest TD Scored in Game – 1.5 yards:  Over -110, Under -110

In a nutshell, we’re looking for a goal line situation to happen for one of these explosive offenses at some point in the game. We’re banking on that happening and can easily see several Patriots punching it in from that point, so our money is on the Under.

Total TDs in Game – 6.5: Over -175, Under +155

There have been seven or more TDs in three of the last four Super Bowls. The Patriots have been involved in all of them. The Over/Under for the game currently stands at 56.5, so we’ll lean towards it happening again.

Super Bowl LIII Player Touchdown Props

All of the relevant players in the Super Bowl have a TD prop attached. Absent direct access to Bill Belichick and Sean McVay’s game plans, our time is best spent on the players we are confident will be heavily involved and on one who has some question marks surrounding him as game time approaches.

Touchdown Passes – Tom Brady 2.5: Over +120, Under -140

In his eight Super Bowl appearances to date, Brady has exceeded this benchmark three times, two of which have come in his last three appearances in the big game. Both clubs have been stout against the run in the playoffs, so we’re leaning towards a potential air show with multiple TD passes from both QBs.

Will James White Score a TD? Yes +105, No -125

White has appeared in two Super Bowls and found the end zone four times. He has been a huge part of postseason game plans since he has been on the roster, and it’s not too hard to see him adding to his already solid big game resume.

Touchdown Passes – Jared Goff 2: Over -110, Under -110

Goff has only thrown for one score in the postseason, but he did have six games with more than two TD passes during the regular season. Through two postseason games, the Patriots have given up six TDs through the air and just two on the ground. We’ll look for that trend to continue as Goff exceeds the mark.

Will Todd Gurley Score a TD? Yes -130, No +110

The Patriots have been stout versus the run in the postseason, allowing 19 yards and a score to the Chargers and 41 yards and a score to the Chiefs. Gurley hasn’t seemed right to boot, so we’ll err to the side that says he doesn’t find paydirt.

Our Favorite Super Bowl LIII Touchdown Props

We’re intrigued by all of the above, but two of them stick out as the best of the bunch. We like the Over on 6.5 total TDs in the game and for White to find the end zone as our top choices on the touchdown front.
