Let’s now take a look at the second leg of matches for the Champions League round of 16. There are some teams that did great and have already secured a nice advantage. There are others who messed up in the first leg and are looking to do better on the second. And there are teams that are theoretically at the next round. But soccer is a very exciting sport and truly anything can happen. Here we will take a look at what is in order for this week’s matches.

Dortmund vs Tottenham:

Tottenham did a really solid job in the first leg, even though they probably didn’t deserve it. They won by a strong 0-3 at home and will now have to be really careful in Germany. Dortmund know that they are up for a huge task, as they will have to score at least three goals in order to have qualifying chances. Tottenham will look for an away goal that would require five goals by Dortmund in order to qualify. I see Dortmund taking the win, one way or the other, but I am not sure if they can cover the deficit here. In any case, Dortmund can theoretically pull this off but it’s hard. I will take the Over 3 Goals on this one and the 0-3 correct score for Dortmund.

Prediction: Over 3 Goals (-110) / Dortmund to win by 0-3 (+1600)

Real Madrid vs Ajax:

The first leg was a really fierce battle between the two sides, but it was Real Madrid who came out on top. They struggled a lot throughout the whole match and should be feeling grateful they didn’t concede more goals. They did win by 2-1 on the road though, and now have an easy job ahead of them. Ajax know that they will have to score at least twice in order to have hopes and I think that this match can easily blow up. Real Madrid are always strong at home and should be able to cover the spread here. There is little room for upset here, but Real Madrid’s defense is really struggling lately. I will take the home team to cover the spread here but I wouldn’t be surprised with a draw.

Prediction: Real Madrid -1 (+105) / Real Madrid to win by 1-3 (+1000)

FC Porto vs AS Roma:

This match looked like an easy Over 2.5 Goals between two teams that usually score a lot. AS Roma were much better than their opponents throughout the whole match and managed to take a two-goal lead. But the were careless in the defense and conceded a late goal that could prove to be a problem. FC Porto did great to score that goal and they know now that even a 0-1 win would see them through. AS Roma have some great quality up front and can easily score a goal here. I will go with FC Porto to win here though, as they have been really strong at home. The reverse score of the first leg will surely be played as an alternative bet. The 1-2 home win for FC Porto goes at +735.

Prediction: FC Porto -0.5 (+103) / FC Porto to win by 1-2 (+735)

PSG vs Manchester United:

Manchester United were really bad at home in the first leg but probably didn’t deserve to lose by that harsh 2-0. PSG did a really great job to destroy Manchester United’s creative game and it worked out perfectly. The French team scored twice in a seven-minute span in the second half to win by a solid 2-0. Manchester United must now score at least two goals in order to have qualifying chances, and this is probably going to be a high-scoring match. PSG are excellent at home and can destroy Manchester United in the counter-attack.

Prediction: Over 3 Goals (+106)

Champions League round of 16 Correct Score Predictions:

When it comes to two-legged ties we sometimes see the final score of the first leg repeat in the second leg as well. This does not always apply, but in this round we can make a wild play and hope for at least two correct scores to go our way. So here is a rundown of the matches that I think can repeat the correct score of the first leg and send the tie to extra time:

FC Porto vs AS Roma: FC Porto to win by 1-2 (+735)

Dortmund vs Tottenham: Dortmund to win by 0-3 (+1600)

Juventus vs Atletico Madrid: Juventus to win by 0-2 (+639)
