The North American tours are over…it’s showtime! Several European soccer leagues kicked off last weekend, with the English Premier League scheduled to begin this upcoming weekend and Spain’s La Liga the following weekend. But before they do that, there is still one important crown left to be decided – The UEFA Super Cup. At the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Real Madrid is a -115 favorite over Manchester United in Tuesday’s match from Skopje, Macedonia.

The UEFA Super Cup is a yearly competition between the winner of the Europa League (Manchester United) and the UEFA Champions League (Real Madrid). Manchester United defeated Ajax 2-0 in May’s Europa League final, while Real Madrid beat Juventus 4-1 for the Champions League crown. In ten previous matches between these two European powers, Real Madrid holds a 4-2 advantage with four draws. The last time they met was in the Round of 16 at the 2012-13 Champions League, with a 1-1 draw in the first match followed by a 2-1 Madrid victory in the second leg. Cristiano Ronaldo scored both goals for Madrid that day in his first match against his former team.
