2016 COPA America Championship Odds: Messi and 'Tina take the pitch vs. Chile at WagerTalk

After this week’s 2018 World Cup draw, a good portion of international soccer fans can’t help but look at the 2018 field and feel a little less-than-excited. No United States. No Italy. No Chile. No Ecuador. It’s always nice to see some fresh blood in the tournament, but the makeup of some groups is tough to swallow. At the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, Germany (+450) is the tournament favorite, followed by Brazil (+500), France (+550) and Spain (+700).

Table courtesy of FIFA. So which is the Group of Death? Most would point to Group F with Germany, Mexico and Sweden – Each of whom are ranked in the top-18 in the world. Completely unrelated to odds or quality of play, but Group B probably has the coolest storyline with three countries – Portugal, Spain and Morocco – that border each other.
