In this all-Western showdown between the third and the last squads of the conference, the defending champions Minnesota Lynx (12-8), who have lost their rhythm in the past 10 days, are hosting the last Las Vegas Aces (9-12), who are looking to extend their current winning streak and climb up the league table.

Minnesota Lynx have a 12-8 record (8-12 against the spread) so far this season and currently sit on the third place of the Western Conference. They have won two of their last three matches and in their last game they won on the road against the Indiana Fever with an 87-65 score, beating the odds. They are led in scoring by Maya Moore with 19 ppg, adding 5.4 boards per game. She is followed by Sylvia Fowles with 17.4 ppg and a team high 11.8 boards per game, while Seimone Augustus adds 10.3 ppg.
Las Vegas Aces have a 9-12 record (11-10 against the spread) so far this season and currently sit on the last place of the Western Conference. They have won four of their last five matches and in their last game they won on the road against the Chicago Sky with a 98-74 score, beating the odds. They are led in scoring by A’ja Wilson with 20.6 ppg, adding a team high 8.5 boards per game. In their previous meeting earlier this season, Minnesota won on the road with a 73-88 score. Minnesota are 6-3 at home this season, while Las Vegas are 4-7 on the road. Aces are better offensively, scoring 82.8 ppg to Lynx’s 79.5, while Lynx have the best defense in the league, allowing 76.7 ppg to Aces’ second-worse of 84.9. Lynx have a better field goal percentage (44.7% to 43.6%), while Aces have a better 3-point percentage (36.6% to 35.6%). Aces are better in turnovers committed (13.8 to 14.8), while both teams are almost equal both in rebounding (36.4 to 36.3) and in assists made (20.3 to 19.9). Lynx are the absolute favorite for the win and Vegas odds give them a -9 spread but don’t expect them to beat the odds against the much better lately Aces.
